Green Network
The future supply chain includes network design
and sustainability planning.
Welcome to the future.
Green NetworkTM is a stand-alone planning software package that is used to design supply chain distribution networks that must balance profitability and
environmental impact. Green Network can be used to measure your operational footprint while you analyze the placement and location of production facilities, distribution centers, and warehouses over a multi-period planning horizon.
Green Network allows you to model your existing or proposed supply chain for a geographic area, with its locations, flow limits, costs and any number of environmental byproducts, including carbon dioxide. Input data include raw material sources and costs, plant locations, plant production rates and costs, warehouse and distribution center locations and costs and customer locations and anticipated demand.
Benefits
Green Network will evaluate projected costs for “what if” scenarios. You can add or remove sites and change cost assumptions and capacity constraints.
Green Network includes a leading commercial optimization engine. Model results can be viewed as tables of flows and costs, in Microsoft Access or Excel, and the system provides a visual display of the manufacturing plant, warehouse, and customer locations in service region. Green Network displays results in either MS MapPoint or the MapInfo framework.
